TOOINS M1 First-Ride Guide: Setup, Folding & Daily Checks
Set up M1 once with care and the daily routine becomes simpler. Keep the manual nearby during assembly, pairing and first practice.
Choose a permanent place for your first checks, ideally with good light and room to see both wheels. Learn the folding sequence slowly before making it part of a hurried commute. Check the latch visually and physically as directed in the manual rather than relying on the sound of it closing.
At home
Check supplied parts against the manual. Secure handlebar and folding hardware as instructed, check cables for pinching, inspect tire pressure and condition, and verify charger compatibility.

Practice the fold
Learn folding while parked. Keep fingers and cables clear, and confirm the riding latch after unfolding. A folded carrying feature is not a substitute for the lock that secures the riding position.

A short first loop
Use flat, dry, open ground where riding is permitted. Repeat starts and progressive stops. If throttle response needs a push, check startup instructions and the app setting before assuming a fault.
Learn the controls
Select a gentle speed mode. The single brake lever combines front drum and rear electronic braking. Test a slow roll and controlled stop before powered riding so you know the normal response.
After several outings, revisit the original setup. You may find a more comfortable foot position or a better way to place the scooter in storage. Keep mechanical checks consistent even as your confidence improves; familiarity should make the routine quicker to understand, not easier to forget.
Before the next ride
Check tires, brakes, folding lock, lights and charge. Investigate new play or rattles. Keep the charging port dry and the scooter secured during transport.
For app setup, use UNI SCOOTER on iPhone or UNISCOOTER on Android. Pair while stationary and change riding settings one at a time.
